US President Donald Trump has called on Israel and the Hezbollah organization to halt military operations.
According to Oxu.Az, he wrote on the "Truth Social" platform.
Trump noted that there should be no new attacks by Israel in Lebanon, and no party, including Hezbollah, should carry out attacks against Israel.
"This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace - let's not miss this chance," he said.
The US president also added that the US and Iran are very close to an agreement that could bring peace to the region, including Lebanon, and that all parties should act with restraint.
