US President Donald Trump has announced the cancellation of planned military strikes against Iran.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that following negotiations, the strikes and bombings scheduled for this evening have been called off.

He stated that the agreement has been confirmed by the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others.

"The naval blockade will remain in effect until this deal is finalized. The time and place for signing will be announced soon," Trump added.

Earlier, Trump had threatened to obliterate Iran if it did not agree to a deal with Washington.
