US President Donald Trump has called on Republican congressmen to introduce and approve a bill that allocates additional funding for the Department of Defense.
According to Oxu.Az, the White House leader made this statement in a post on his Truth Social platform.
"I am calling on Republicans in Congress to immediately introduce and pass the $350 billion 'Recon 3.0' bill. No games, no delays, do it as soon as possible!" the post said. He added that based on the Pentagon's request, the document will include the "Save America Act."
The US leader explained that passing the 'Recon 3.0' bill is necessary to increase the total military budget to $1.5 trillion.
"We will protect our homeland with the 'Golden Dome,' create an invincible 'Golden Fleet,' dominate the skies with the 'F-47' and 'B-21,' significantly replenish our ammunition stockpiles, and achieve absolute superiority for the US Space Force and UAVs," the president added.
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth responded to Trump's post on his account: "Thank you, Mr. President. The Department of Defense will deliver."
