US President Donald Trump and his family have earned over $1 billion from their cryptocurrency business in 2025.
According to federal disclosure documents cited by The Guardian, Trump actively invested in various crypto ventures and digital assets during his second term.
Earlier this year, Trump announced his intention to turn the US into the "crypto capital of the world." The total profit includes revenue from digital currencies, legal settlements, real estate deals, and royalties.
When Trump took office, many of his crypto projects were in the startup phase. Now, these digital businesses surpass a large part of his extensive real estate portfolio in terms of profit.
The sharp rise in income is attributed to the removal of federal regulations and the activity of billionaire investors. According to The New Yorker's analysis from August 2025, Trump and his family's total wealth increased by $3.4 billion over two presidential terms.
