The menu for the official dinner hosted in honor of US President Donald Trump during his visit to China has been revealed.
The meal included lobster with tomato soup, roasted beef ribs, Peking duck, and seasonal cooked vegetables. Also served were slow-cooked salmon with mustard sauce, pork buns, and scallop-shaped pastries.
According to The Guardian, Trump was forced to eat foods he is not accustomed to. The US leader is known to prefer McDonald's hamburgers and french fries.
Trump made an official visit to China on May 13, holding bilateral talks with Xi Jinping. He later described the meeting as "magnificent" and emphasized that China is a fascinating and incredible place.
