U.S. President Donald Trump concluded a meeting on a potential deal with Iran without making a decision.
According to Oxu.Az, citing a high-ranking U.S. official, The New York Times reported that Trump's meeting at the White House lasted about two hours, but the president did not approve any new agreement with Iran.
The source added that the administration believes they are very close to an agreement, but certain issues, including the release of frozen Iranian assets, remain under discussion.
It is recalled that Trump had stated he intended to make a final decision on May 29 regarding the approval of the preliminary agreement with Iran during a meeting with his aides.
