US President Donald Trump has announced that Israel and Iran will not strike each other for at least a week.
According to Oxu.Az citing TASS, Trump made the statement during a press conference.
“We had a very good conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He was attacked and he retaliated. I cannot blame him for that. But now they have stopped. So they will leave each other alone for another week or a little longer,” he told reporters.
Trump also emphasized that the US and Iran could reach an agreement on resolving the situation within two or three days: “Two or three days. We have good chances to do it. Better yet, we should be able to do it in an hour.”
The White House leader claimed that there are no contradictions between the parties' positions: “I don't think there are any obstacles. We are very close to signing a very strong and solid agreement.”
