U.S. President Donald Trump has agreed to lift sanctions on some Chinese enterprises.
According to CNN, Trump announced that restrictions on Chinese companies importing oil from Iran will soon be removed.
This move is linked to instability in the oil market amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
After his trip to Beijing, Trump confirmed to journalists that the matter was discussed, but emphasized he expects no concessions from China in return.
Earlier, in an interview with Fox News, Trump said Chinese leader Xi Jinping agreed to buy 200 Boeing aircraft, up from the initial plan of 150.
