US President Donald Trump has said his interest in a deal with Iran has decreased over the past few weeks.
Oxu.Az reports that he made the statement on Fox News.
"Right now, I want to make a deal less than I wanted it 3-4 weeks ago," he said.
The White House chief added that the US could go further in escalating the conflict but doubted American society would support such a scenario.
Recall that on June 9, after a US AH-64 Apache helicopter crashed near the Strait of Hormuz, the US struck Iran.
The US president stated that his country is preparing to launch massive strikes against Iran and vowed to obliterate the country if the Islamic Republic does not agree to a deal with Washington.
