US President Donald Trump has started an official visit to China.

According to China Central Television, this is the first visit by a US leader to China in 9 years.

Trump's visit to Beijing was announced on May 11 and will continue until May 15.

During the visit, Trump plans to discuss trade, arms, and the situation in the Middle East with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
