US President Donald Trump said he has not received any notice from Iran regarding the decision to halt talks with Washington, emphasizing that he does not intend to resume strikes on Iranian territory for now.
Speaking to NBC News, Trump noted that the situation 'does not mean we will start bombing everyone again.'
However, he stated that US forces will continue the naval blockade of Iran.
Trump also advised parties to avoid frequent comments on the negotiation process: 'I think we all talked too much. Maybe it's better to be silent for a while.'
Earlier, Iran's Tasnim agency reported that due to Israeli strikes on Lebanese territory, Iran is suspending message exchanges with the US.
Tehran stated that negotiations will not resume until Israeli troops fully withdraw from Lebanon and strikes cease.
