U.S. President Donald Trump left unanswered a question about his potential successor who would continue the "America First" course if he wins the 2028 presidential election.
Oxu.Az reports that this was reported by "Fortune".
"Whoever comes to this position will be a very important person. But if you choose the wrong person, it will result in disaster," said the White House leader, responding to a question about successors including J.D. Vance, Marco Rubio, and the current president's son Donald Trump Jr.
He also noted that he did not know in what form the "America First" policy could be continued after his term ends. Nevertheless, he emphasized his confidence that the U.S. can defend its interests after 2028.
