US President Donald Trump revealed he has seen Iran's response to America's peace proposals but found the very first sentence unacceptable.
Speaking to journalists aboard Air Force One en route from Beijing to Alaska, Trump said: "I looked at it. If I don't like the first sentence, I just throw the document away."
Asked what the first sentence contained, Trump only said it was an unacceptable proposal without elaborating further.
Iran delivered its response via Pakistan on May 10. According to sources, Tehran refused to dismantle nuclear facilities but signaled readiness to halt uranium enrichment, though not for the 20-year period Washington demands.
