US President Donald Trump announced that under the agreement being prepared with Iran, the Strait of Hormuz will reopen for shipping.

According to Oxu.Az, he stated this in a post on his "Truth Social" platform.

Trump noted that the final details of the deal are currently being discussed and its full content will be disclosed soon.

According to him, the agreement includes, among other provisions, the restoration of maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

It was reported that official statements from the US and Iran regarding the issue will be presented later.
