U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans to renovate a 100-year-old golf course in Washington, D.C., near the White House, aiming to make it the world's best.
According to Oxu.Az citing Reuters, Trump wants to rebuild the public "East Potomac Golf Links" and turn it into a top-tier facility.
On Sunday, Trump stated that work should begin in September. He emphasized the site's stunning views of the water and the capital's landmarks.
The announcement came after a visit with the Interior Secretary and a golf architect. The project previously faced a lawsuit, but a compromise was reached.
