US President Donald Trump stated that if American soldiers had been killed as a result of Iranian strikes, Washington could have launched large-scale military operations against Iran.

According to Oxu.Az citing TASS, Trump made these remarks during a conversation with journalists at the White House.

"To be honest, that would have been a pretty serious reason. If they had killed our soldiers, I think I would have made that decision very quickly," the US leader said when commenting on the possibility of resuming large-scale military operations against Iran.
