US President Donald Trump has reignited his claims about Greenland with a new social media post.

According to Oxu.Az, the White House chief shared a status on his social network account depicting the situation regarding the island.

The US president added a striking photo collage to the post. The collage shows the White House leader watching the island nation from behind the mountains.

Trump captioned the post with "Hello, Greenland!"

The US leader had not made any statements about the island for a long time.

A few days ago, the US ambassador to Denmark, Kenneth Howery, said that the White House chief no longer considers using force to incorporate Greenland into the US. In his view, Trump has abandoned this idea. The diplomat noted that in the negotiation process, a working group could find a solution that would satisfy both Trump's concerns and the interests of the island's residents and Denmark.
