US President Donald Trump has issued a stern ultimatum to Iran. Tehran has assured Washington that it does not collect fees from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
If it is discovered that tolls are still being charged, the US will immediately halt negotiations. Trump stated this on social media.
"Iran has told the US that it does not collect any tolls or insurance fees from vessels in the Strait. If this information proves false, negotiations will be terminated immediately," the White House leader emphasized.
