Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistan's Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Armenian leader Nikol Pashinyan on the electoral victory of his Civil Contract party.

According to Oxu.Az, the Armenian Prime Minister's press service released the information.

In his message, Erdogan said: "On behalf of my people and myself, I sincerely congratulate you on the success of the Civil Contract party in the parliamentary elections held on June 7, 2026. I wish you success in forming the government for the third time. I believe your strategic vision for long-term peace and stability in the region will be successfully implemented."

The Pakistani leader also expressed joy over the victory: "On behalf of the people and government of Pakistan, and personally, I heartily congratulate you on your victory in the recent parliamentary elections in Armenia. I emphasize that Pakistan attaches great importance to peace and constructive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We hope your new term will contribute to peace, stability, and economic development in the South Caucasus."
