New details have emerged about a female judge who was beaten by her boyfriend in Çanakkale, Turkey.

According to Haber Global, the 33-year-old judge, who served as head of the 4th Heavy Criminal Court, had a serious argument with her boyfriend Burak Doğan, a construction engineer, in December 2025 over jealousy.

Doğan learned that the judge was drinking alcohol with a male lawyer and two women at her home. He went to her house, threatened the guests with a knife, and brutally beat the judge in the bedroom. The judge was taken to the hospital with a fractured cheekbone, and Doğan was arrested.

Investigations went beyond the violence. Security cameras showed a taxi driver frequently entering the judge's home. The driver, Kadir, claimed that he regularly brought pills to the judge, obtained from another city. The judge admitted the drugs were green-prescription medications.

The judge was suspended for three months to ensure an objective investigation. Upon learning of the decision, she reacted angrily at the courthouse, insulting and threatening staff before being removed by security.

Both the violence case and the drug allegations are under multi-faceted investigation.
