Uzbekistan will host the Turkish Science and Innovation Days under the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Tashkent in October.

This was announced in the Turkestan Declaration adopted at the informal OTS summit. The document calls for increased cooperation in human capital development through joint programs on digital literacy, AI education, skills development, and talent mobility, with a special focus on youth, women, and STEM fields.

Priority initiatives include regular educational platforms, tech and aerospace festivals, and exchange programs. "We welcome Uzbekistan's proposal to hold the Turkish Science and Innovation Days in Tashkent in October 2026," the declaration states.

Leaders also emphasized the importance of promoting digital transformation in agriculture and expanding cooperation on digital technologies in the agrarian sector, as outlined in the Strategic Roadmap for Agricultural Cooperation adopted in Bishkek on June 25, 2025.
