Two parliamentary candidates from Samvel Karapetyan's Strong Armenia bloc arrested in Armenia on suspicion of money laundering.

Armenia's Investigative Committee has announced the arrest of two more parliamentary candidates from the "Strong Armenia" bloc, led by Russian businessman Samvel Karapetyan.

According to Oxu.Az, citing TASS, a criminal case has been opened against six candidates from the bloc.

The committee stated that detention orders were issued during the preliminary investigation. Two candidates were detained and placed under arrest.

The Investigative Committee suspects the arrested individuals of involvement in money laundering.
