The British army has sent Challenger 2 main battle tanks to Vorumaa, Estonia, which lies directly on the Russian border, for exercises.
According to Military Watch Magazine, the tanks belong to the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland and play a key role in NATO's 'Spring Storm' drills.
During the exercises, simulated Russian forces are targeted. The presence of British tanks is considered a decisive step in NATO's expansion near Russian borders.
Meanwhile, Lithuania's presidential national security advisor stated that the US has begun withdrawing over 1,000 troops and equipment from Lithuania.
