The UK Ministry of Justice has launched a pilot program that will allow judges to analyze case materials using artificial intelligence.

Oxu.Az reports citing the ministry's official website.

To speed up court proceedings and reduce delays, AI-based legal assistants will be developed and tested.

These assistants will help judges with daily routine tasks, including legal research and preparing court lists.

The project will first be tested in controlled conditions. If results are positive, AI assistants will be deployed more widely across UK courts.

The government believes this initiative will increase court efficiency, reduce workload, and ensure faster access to justice for citizens.
