Seven civilians, including five residents of the Kursk region, have been returned from Ukraine to Russia.

Russia's Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova confirmed the information.

The repatriation of Russians was ensured through joint humanitarian efforts with the Ukrainian side.

Recall that on June 26, a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine took place: 160 Russian soldiers were returned from Ukrainian captivity, and reciprocally, 160 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were handed over.
