Ukraine has taken control of cryptocurrency assets worth 8.3 million USDT seized from an international hacker group.

The press service of Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko reported on Telegram that over 8.3 million USDT were transferred to the cryptocurrency wallet of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency. This exceeds 372 million hryvnias.

It is noted that for the first time, seized cryptocurrency assets are actually being transferred to state management.

The funds were confiscated from an international hacker group that carried out cyberattacks on citizens and companies in European countries and the US.
