Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that one day of combat operations costs Ukraine approximately $450 million.
Sybiha noted that 2026 could be decisive for peace in Ukraine, but active U.S. involvement would be required.
The European Union approved a €90 billion loan package for Ukraine for 2026-2027, with €60 billion allocated for weapons and €30 billion for budget needs.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas confirmed that initial payments from the new loan will be used to purchase drones.
