The UK's oldest resident, Arthur Espinoll, has died at 109. He lived through the reigns of four monarchs and over 20 prime ministers, according to The Mirror.
Born on October 13, 1916, Arthur started working at his father's fastener company at 14 and retired only at 90. The cause of death was not disclosed.
After his passing, the title of oldest resident passes to Jack Sigers, born on July 9, 1917.
