The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) will open a new office in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
Erfan Ali, UN-Habitat's Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, announced this at the WUF13 conference in Baku.
He noted that the organization currently operates in 25 countries.
