The US has agreed to temporarily suspend enforcement of oil sanctions against Iran during ongoing negotiations.

This was reported by the Tasnim agency, citing a source close to Iran's negotiating team.

According to the source, unlike previous proposals, Washington has now accepted to freeze oil sanctions while talks continue.

Until a final agreement is reached, the US is only ready to lift Treasury Department sanctions, while Tehran demands the complete removal of all restrictions.
