Iran's military has struck US military bases in the Middle East.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the attack was in response to a US assault on Sirik and Qeshm Island.
The US military neutralized several ballistic missiles fired by Iran towards Kuwait and Bahrain. CENTCOM reported that after shooting down four Iranian drones, Iran launched seven ballistic missiles; six were intercepted and the seventh failed to reach its target.
No US casualties were reported, and the US Navy headquarters in Bahrain was not damaged.
