The United States has started moving elements of the 1st Cavalry Division from Fort Hood, Texas, to Poland.

Polish National Security Bureau head Bartosz Grodetski announced this on his X account.

He stated that over 20% of the planned personnel and about 70% of the equipment have already been transported from Fort Hood to Poland.

Grodetski noted that changes in rotation schedules are linked to the US intention to withdraw the 2nd Cavalry Regiment from Vilseck, Germany.

This unit may replace the previously planned US armored tank brigade in Poland.
