US cancels military plan in Poland

US cancels deployment of over 4,000 troops to Poland. Current US military presence in Poland stands at about 10,000.

The United States has abandoned plans to deploy additional military forces in Poland.

According to Oxu.Az, citing Defense News, a military source speaking on condition of anonymity said: "The US Army has canceled the deployment of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Cavalry Division, consisting of over 4,000 soldiers and equipment, to Poland."

Currently, approximately 10,000 US troops are stationed in Poland.
