Members of US President Donald Trump's delegation were forced to discard all items given to them by Chinese officials before leaving China.

According to Oxu.Az, New York Post reporter Emily Goody reported this.

The journalist explained that security rules prohibit bringing any items from Chinese territory onto the plane. Therefore, delegation members threw away everything Chinese officials had given them.

"White House staffers' disposable phones, accreditation cards, delegation badges - we collected all these before boarding 'AF1' (Air Force One) and threw them in the trash," the journalist noted.

Recall that Donald Trump made a three-day visit to China. This is his first official visit to Beijing since his first presidency in 2017, i.e., in nine years.
