U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright has admitted to mistakenly firing key experts in nuclear safety.

According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by RIA Novosti.

"This is entirely my fault. In my first week in office, the term 'temporary employees' came up. I misinterpreted it, and this is exactly my mistake," the secretary said.

According to him, these individuals were long-serving ministry staff who had been appointed to new positions. Wright added that eventually, all but two of the experts were reinstated.
