Military exercises named "Eagle Partner-2026" have started at Armenia's "Zar" training ground, aimed at preparing for international peacekeeping missions.
According to Armenia's Ministry of Defense, the drills involve 250 Armenian, 58 US, 24 French, and 11 Greek troops, running until June 25.
The exercises focus on peacekeeping tasks and preparedness. This is the first time such maneuvers are held in a quadrilateral format.
The US and Armenia previously held "Eagle Partner" exercises in September 2023 and August 2025.
The main goal is to enhance interoperability of units involved in international peacekeeping missions, exchange best practices in command and tactical communication, and increase the combat readiness of Armenia's peacekeeping contingent.
