Tulsi Gabbard has announced her resignation as Director of US National Intelligence.

According to Fox News, Gabbard informed President Donald Trump of her decision during a meeting.

She stated she will leave her post on June 30, 2026.

In her official letter, she noted that her husband was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer and she is resigning to support her family.

Gabbard has led US National Intelligence for the past year and a half.
