US Vice President JD Vance announced that the formal signing ceremony of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding will likely take place this weekend in Switzerland.
Speaking at a White House press conference, Vance said the plan is to go to Switzerland, but the exact timing is not yet confirmed. He noted that the ceremony could be held on Friday, June 19, depending on Iran's readiness.
Recall that a 14-point memorandum aimed at ending the conflict between the US and Iran has already been initialed. The event in Switzerland will be the formal signing ceremony of that document.
