A new draft agreement between Iran and the US provides for the cessation of hostilities on all fronts.
According to Al-Arabiya, the full text of the 10-clause document has been published.
The deal includes:
1. An immediate, comprehensive, and unconditional ceasefire on land, sea, and air;
2. Mutual commitment not to strike military, civilian, or economic infrastructure;
3. End to military operations and information warfare;
4. Respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-interference in internal affairs;
5. Free navigation in the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Gulf of Oman;
6. Joint mechanism for monitoring implementation and dispute resolution;
7. Negotiations on unresolved issues within seven days;
8. Gradual lifting of US sanctions in exchange for Iran's compliance with the deal;
9. Compliance with international law and the UN Charter;
10. The document enters into force immediately after official announcement by both sides.
Al-Arabiya sources say the final version is expected within hours. The document does not mention Iran's nuclear weapons.
Recall that a ceasefire has been in effect between Iran and the US since April 8. US President Donald Trump claimed Iran has agreed to abandon nuclear weapons.
