The US and Iran will create an information channel to monitor violations of the memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
Oxu.Az reports citing ISNA agency that Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi made the announcement.
"It has been decided to establish an operational communication channel for the monitoring group by tomorrow. Identified shortcomings in the memorandum will be officially documented, discussed, and decisions will be made," he said.
Recall that in June, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding providing for an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
Additionally, on June 21, negotiations were held in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, mediated by Doha and Islamabad, regarding the implementation of the memorandum.
