The US military struck a suspected drug smuggling boat in the eastern Pacific Ocean, leaving one dead and two survivors, according to the US Southern Command.
Officials reported that the vessel was believed to be carrying narcotics. The attack resulted in one fatality, while two individuals were rescued.
The Coast Guard was immediately notified to activate search and rescue operations.
