The US government has imposed sanctions on the son and grandson of Cuba's former leader Raul Castro, as well as on the country's president and his family members.

According to Oxu.Az citing TASS, this was stated in a notice published on the website of the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.

The document indicates that five individuals have been added to the sanctions list, including Cuban leader Miguel Diaz-Canel and Alejandro Castro Espin.
