The U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) has reported the seizure of the tanker "Davina" in the Indian Ocean.
According to a post on the command's X account, the operation took place at night.
"Overnight, U.S. forces conducted an operation to seize and inspect the Davina, a stateless vessel under sanctions in the Indian Ocean. We will continue to conduct international maritime operations to disrupt criminal networks and hold accountable vessels providing material support to Iran, wherever they may be," the statement said.
