The death toll from the earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24 has exceeded 1,400, reaching 1,430 confirmed fatalities.
According to Oxu.Az, this information was reported by the portal "ElDiario," citing a conversation with National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez.
Official data confirms 1,430 deaths, while 3,238 people were injured. Additionally, 3,142 families lost their homes and are currently receiving aid in shelters.
Recall that on the evening of June 24, two earthquakes of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela. Their epicenters were located 10 kilometers apart in the state of Yaracuy.
