Uzbekistan's famous "Andijan dance" has entered the Guinness World Records as the largest performance of a national dance.
In Andijan, 20,000 people performed the dance simultaneously at the Babur Arena stadium.
The Andijan dance is known for its fast tempo and expressive hand movements. Originally performed by men, it has gained popularity among women as well.
The record coincides with Andijan being named the cultural capital of the Turkic world for 2026. A Guinness official witnessed and confirmed the event.
