Bobi, considered the world's oldest dog, has died at the age of 30 in France.

According to Oxu.Az, AFP reported the news citing the dog's owner, Ophélie Budola.

Bobi, a Papillon mix, was born on December 4, 1995. His owner adopted him from a shelter after the previous owner died.

Guinness World Records stated that because the application was not made while the dog was alive, Bobi cannot be officially recognized as the world's oldest dog after his death.
