Chinese President Xi Jinping has accepted an invitation from US President Donald Trump to visit Washington this fall.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi confirmed that the two leaders held a nine-hour meeting.
The meeting included official talks, a welcoming banquet, and small group discussions.
Wang Yi emphasized the importance of building constructive strategic stability between the two nations.
