German authorities have extradited to Spain a suspect in the murder of Andriy Portnov, a former aide to ex-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
According to a statement from the Madrid court press service to RIA Novosti, “German authorities sent the suspect to Spain and placed him at the disposal of a judge. He is already in our country.”
It is worth recalling that 52-year-old Portnov was shot dead in the town of Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid province. He was one of the key figures in Yanukovych’s inner circle.
