YouTube is expanding measures to label AI-generated content. The video platform will make AI disclosure notices more visible and implement an automatic detection system.
According to Oxu.Az, this was announced on YouTube's blog. Previously, AI disclosures were mainly placed in the description; now they will appear next to the video title. The changes apply to both standard videos and Shorts.
Additionally, YouTube is launching a system that automatically analyzes whether content was created with AI. Previously, checks were manual or based on user reports. Now algorithms can independently detect AI-generated images and other elements.
The company admits the new system may have errors. Therefore, content creators can dispute incorrect labels and file appeals if AI content is misidentified.
