According to Oxu.Az citing The Mirror, eating kiwi regularly before bed is an effective remedy for insomnia. A month-long study showed that eating two kiwis one hour before sleep reduced the time to fall asleep and minimized night awakenings.
Kiwi not only improves sleep quality but also helps lower cortisol levels. Gastroenterologist Sergey Danilov told Pravda.ru: "Don't expect miracles overnight. The cumulative effect becomes noticeable only after 2-4 weeks of systematic consumption."
Endocrinologist Yekaterina Orlova added that kiwi normalizes metabolism and prevents blood sugar spikes, thus reducing night awakenings caused by hunger.
